It runs through my circulatory system, it is the drug that keeps me going... caffeine. I've learned to drink coffee when I entered medicine. Although not as addicted to it as I was before, it still gives me the extra "oomph" to keep my day or mood going. I started to be addicted in those days where the early morning cramming mattered so much that I'd stay awake till 3 or 4 in the morning and sleep for just one hour. Waking up meant having 2 sachets of coffee in just one cup then zooming off to the college to read more, else I'd sleep through the day. It was the booster when I'd need to stay up for the whole 36 hours on duty days and type reports on breaks. it's the drug that I'd try to avoid when I assisted during ORs as my hand would shake so much. After graduation, I thought that I'd finally withdraw from caffeine... I became more addicted when I studied for the boards. The cure for caffeine... I wanted to take better photos...
